The Llifon river was canalised in the early nineteenth century to run across the lawns in front of Glynllifon mansion (NPRN 26526). A pair of bridges were built to carry drives across the river.
The bridges each have low brick lined arches. They are ashlar faced with moulded parapets and are built in a quasi Gothic style with buttresses.
