Event and Historical Information:
The ANNE was a wooden fishing boat (fishing number SA44). Technical and configuration specifications are given as 0.79nt; 22.2ft lnegth xx 7.4ft breadth x 2.8ft depth; auxiliary motor with a single mast and job sail. Normal crew being 2 men. The vessel was used for both trawling and line fishing and was entered on the Port of Swansea Fishing Boat register on 4 September 1934 by H R Gooding of Swansea. The ANNE's registry was closed on 19 October 1948, after it was reported that vessel had sunk in the river and been abandoned.
