Description
The character and extent of archaeological remains associated with the loss of this vessel is presently unknown.

Event and Historical Information:
This UNNAMED wreck was lost in 1815. Bodedern parish records note the details of an inquest into the death of 19 year-old Owen Hughes, who died of an excess of drinking rum out of a wreck. The incident is reputed to be linked to the Betsey's Cave, Trearddur Bay, which is said to have contained a store of liquor robbed from wrecks along the coast. Owen Hughes was the son of Betsy and is reputed to have survived the wreck which brought him home, but to have died after celebrating his return with his mother (found comatose from drink close by).
