Description
A wooden wreck was reported at this location in 1976. The full character and extent of archaeological remains associated with the loss of this vessel are presently unknown.

Event and Historical Information:
It is possibly that the wreck is the remains of the lobster fishing boat belonging to a former Rhoscolyn lifeboat man which was smashed against the Rhoscolyn navigation beacon on 30 August 1933. The former lifeboat man, George Smith, scrambled to safety onto the rock and was rescued some 18 hours later by the Rhoscolyn lifeboat RAMON CABRERA.
