This record comprises a documentary reference to a shipping casualty which has been assigned to the maritime named location HARRY FURLONG ROCKS pending more information which may allow a more precise location for the loss to be assigned.

Event and Historical Information:
The ANNE was a wooden smack belonging to the pory of Plymouth. The smack ran onto the Harry Furlong rocks on 9 December 1830 and sank almost immediately. The crew escaped in their own boat.
