It is likely that only small pieces of wreckage remain and that these are now mostly buried.
Event and Historical Information:
A wreck was reported at 51 21 24N, 03 21 26W, in August 1940. It was investigated by HMS SEAGULL in November 1949 and a buoy was installed by Trinity House in January 1950. Dispersal operations were carried out in July-August 1851 and the buoy was withdrawn in December of that year. The wreck could not be relocated by HMS WOODLARK in March 1981.
