A small farmstead, part of Pentre Dolau Honddu. On the Merthyr Cynog parish tithe map of 1840, the house, NPRN 242003 and the field system of three fields, NPRN 242002, are shown as belonging to Sir Charles Morgan and occupied or tenanted by a John Lewis. By the time of the 1st edition 1:10560 Ordnance Survey map published in 1891, the buildings appear to be roofless, certainly the case by the time of the 2nd edition map of 1905. When the site was visited in April 2008, the house was no longer visible. The field system could be traced, in some places overlain by military hedges planted in the 1970s. J.J.
