Site Record

Cwm Owen was a temporary camp for the Italian 573 PoW company when they were constructing the Concrete Road, NPRN 242363 according to RG Church, 1990, Sennybridge Training Area 1940-1990, page 7. Later it was used as a bivouac site for the military. When visited in April 2008, all that was left was an area of concrete 110m north northwest-south southeast by 36m with outlines of the former hut bases. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 25 April 2008
