Site Record

The quarry is cut into a SW facing slope. The quarry is rectangular in shape. It is excavated into level ground and has a depth of 3m. It would appear that the quarry was formed to extract walling stone. A waste heap 12m long is piled approximately 6m in from of the quarry face and now lies very close to a shake hole.
