The building is built into the leeward side of a north-facing slope. The rectangular building was a hut and built on level ground. The walls lack mortar and are built from stone and are faced internally with rough stone and faced externally with rough stone. They are 1m thick and not built on orthostats. There is no hearth. The doorway is in end of long wall. The eaves where they survive are 0.5m high. The building measures internally 7m by 4m. Plot dug into leeward side of hill. Drystone construction.
