Site Record

The sheepfold is on a north-facing slope, with a drystone wall to the SW, up hill. This freestanding sheepfold is of rectangular shape with 2 cells. Its entrance faces north. The fold measures 13m by 5m and it is 0.7m high. Sheepfold has a shepherds hut adjacent. The ground cover was bracken at the time of survey. B. Britton and G. Arnold, ArchaeoPhysica Ltd, 20/01/2009
