Description
The quarry is cut of out an east facing bank and has a modern tarmac track running E-W to road. The quarry is scoop-shaped. It is excavated into level ground and has a depth of 7.5m. It would appear that the quarry was formed to extract limestone. 50m diameter turning circle at centre. natural voids and caverns below limestone floor.
