Description
The quarry is a long line of natural outcrop. Road faces east and rock has been quarried out of the east facing bank. The quarry is scoop-shaped. It is excavated into level ground and has a depth of 30m. It would appear that the quarry was formed to extract limestone. Quarry with various phases of quarrying.
