Description
The building is below a northeast facing slope in the base of a hollow. The rectangular building was a house associated with the adjacent industrial workings and built along contour. The walls lack mortar and are built from stone and are left plain internally. They are 1m thick and not built on orthostats. There is no hearth. The doorway is in end of short wall. The eaves where they survive are 1.2m high. The building measures internally 1.5m by 0.7m. Post-medieval ruined house with possible doorway on the west side. Lots of collapse and rubble. Most of form has been lost. The ground cover was bracken at the time of survey. B. Britton and G. Arnold, ArchaeoPhysica Ltd, 05/03/2009
