Description
The building is below a quarry, on a southwest facing slope close to the base of a valley. Orientated north-south. The rectangular building was a hut associated with the adjacent other buildings and built on level ground. The walls lack mortar and are built from stone and are left plain internally. They are 0.7m thick and not built on orthostats. The position of any hearth is not evident. The doorway is in end of long wall. The eaves where they survive are 0.8m high. The building measures internally 5m by 3m. Entrance is in the southwest corner of the building. The ground cover was bracken at the time of survey. B. Britton and G.
