The cairn is on top of Twynau Gwynion on the north-western side of a large rock outcrop, with a good view all around. The circular cairn is constructed of small easily-portable stones forming a dense pile and measures 3m by 3m and 1.5m high. Shelter built into the north side. Modern walkers marker cairn. The ground cover was bracken at the time of survey. B. Britton and G. Arnold, ArchaeoPhysica Ltd, 12/03/2009
