Lime kiln (clamp type) built into W-facing steep slope, quarrying nearby. Remarkably intact pot, up to 4m diameter, grassed over. Charging platform adjacent to pot top, approx. 3m x 3m. Short central pathway 3-4m wide to pot base from below, between pair of flanking waste dumps each about 11m wide (along slope) x 14m down slope. Waste material partly concreted. Orangey staining patch in ground (size about 5m) below each dump.
