Many long low mounds were recorded in this area by the Ordnance Survey and interpreted as relating to peat cutting or pillow mounds. Nothing was seen at this NGR when visited in September 2007. A possible pillow mound, or feature associated with peat cutting, was found 200m to the southwest, NPRN 267087.
