Linear excavation with bank/ spoil tip on south side. Orientated northwest - southeast, c.20m long, x 6m wide. The bank is c. 1.3m high, and the excavation c. 1m deep. The site lies eastnortheast of Pen-Y-Gwaith/ Nant-Y-Brain mine. Possibly a trial excavation or other mining feature.
