1. Probably pillow mound.
2. Also explained as being a spoil mound from the excavation of the now destroyed Clap-yr-Arian, cairn II (Cpat Prn873). The mound is 12.8m by 4.6m and is said to have shown the vestiges of a rim, or wall.
