DescriptionBy 1976 the mill was a roofless stone shell at the side of the lane, with the wheel pit filled in and a large but empty pond behind to the south-west The position and size of the wheel was marked by grooves on the wall.
In November 2008 the building was little changed, although the wall fronting the lane had been consolidated with concrete blocks. The wheel pit had been cleared, and Planning permission had recently been granted for conversion to a dwelling, with the front wall restored to its characteristic well-course large limestone blocks, and a waterwheel in the pit.
