DescriptionA ruinous drystone sheepfold on the southern side of Nant Tarthwynni, just above the steep slope down to the stream. It measures 9m northeast-southwest x 5.5m. The walls are 0.75m wide and up to 0.7m high. The lateral wall on the northwestern side of the fold extends 5m further to the northeast beyond the main structure, presumably to assist with driving sheep into the fold. Vegetation cover in July 2008 was thick bracken. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 21 October 2008.
