Description
A cairn has been shown at Carn Pica on Ordnance Survey maps since the 1" to 1 mile survey of the early 19th century. Today the most obvious cairn at the spot is NPRN 246202, a modern "beehive" cairn. Just to the northwest of this is a cleared area with some stone debris on it. This could have been a place where stone was put during the restoration of NPRN 246202 but it could the slight remains of a former funerary cairn. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 5 November 2008.
