A weir at the eastern end of the dam, NPRN 246468 at Lower Neuadd reservoir, NPRN 246462. The weir is shown on the 1st edition 1:2500 Ordnance Survey map of 1887. It still exists but rarely has water flowing over it. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 17 November 2008
