Description
Felin Fflur is a large cornmill, with two pairs of stones, and was probably built as an estate mill for the Lisburne estate in the early nineteenth century. The building is of rubble masonry in lime mortar with dressed quoins and rubble voussoir arches to the openings. Against the south gable is the overshot waterwheel (7.2m diameter by 1.1m wide); it has an iron hub (marked COALBROOKDALE COMPANY), unmarked iron shrouds and ten wooden spokes.
