Description
Nant Mill stands on the site of a former fulling mill and is probably the site mentioned in a document of 1647 as Nant y Pandu. It is believed to have become a corn mill by around 1770. The current building is dated 1832; a plaque bears the name T. Fitzhugh, Esq. The mill fell into disuse during the Second World War and was noted as being in a ruinous condition in 1990, with 2 or 3 millstones remaining on site. It is now a visitor centre for the Clywedog Valley.
