1. Dates at least as early as the sixteenth century as a manor mill. Survived as a three-storeyed building until the late nineteenth century.

2. The mill is depicted and annotated on the Ordnance Survey 25in mapping as 'Old Mill (Corn)' on the first edition of 1876 and as 'Old Mill (Disused)' on the second edition of 1899; on the third edition of 1919 the site is shown as demolished and built over.
