Description
Caerau is situated approximately 7km south of Llanwrtyd Wells, at the end of a minor road south from Tirabad, on the west bank of the Afon Dulas. It is a 2 storey false long-house with a central kitchen, parlour and pantry outside from c.1800. There is a dairy and a back kitchen adjoining the narrow lower byre, which has a lower roof level. There are stairs in the kitchen. The building was probably altered c.1870.
