A row of five two storey cottages facing onto the tow path of the Brecknock and Abergavenny Canal (NPRN 85124), the eastern unit lying within Canal Bank Gardens (NPRN 25220). Thought to be late eighteenth-early nineteenth century.
The row was amalgamated into three dwellings by 1904 (OS County series second edition Brecknock. XXVIII.13). Now a single property, much altered and extended.
The walls were colourwashed rubble-stone and the common roof of slate. All the cottages, except the eastern, had a ground floor doorway and window, and single upper storey windows front and rear. The western gable-end wall is acutely skewed. The eastern cottage lies within the acute angle of the garden wall, presenting a rounded, two window bay to the garden, below a hipped roof.
