Description
Cathedine Hill is a Georgian residence. Nineteenth century County Series mapping shows a planned garden extending uphill to the east of the house, comprising a central path giving access to a small building and walls, with gateposts, thence further uphill to steps accessing a final earthwork terrace and viewpoint. The main components of this garden have long been removed. However, Royal Commission aerial reconnaissance during the 2018 drought recorded parchmarks of the buried and destroyed garden elements - including the footings of the wall and gateposts - on 19th July 2018.
