Description
Forest Lodge is a large farmhouse situated just south of the minor road running south of the A4215 at the foot of Fan Frynych, 3km east of Heol Senni. It was the centre of the 650 hectare Forest Lodge Estate, which was one of the largest enclosed farms in Powys, and is now within the Brecon Beacons National Park.

There is a large, whitewashed farmhouse with a pitched slate roof, built in the early nineteenth century. The huge barns had a waterwheel attached to drive threshing and corn-grinding machinery, the millstones remain on site. Other ranges of buildings inlcude a manager's houseand a courtyard of workers' houses that were enlarged in the later nineteenth century. The mill dam also remains.
