DescriptionA three storey brick built townhouse, probably mid eighteenth century. The main elevation faces Lion Street. It is a five window front with a central door set in a pedimented doorcase. A lower, two storey, wing projects to frame the south-east side of the forecourt. This has railings on a dwarf stone wall and is entered by a fine wrought iron gate. There are large staircase windows at the rear. The roofs are slate-hung.
There are well preserved Georgian interiors, including the staircase, marble fireplaces and panelling.
The large garden at the back crosses the line of the medieval town walls (NPRN 25719).
