House and byre housestead built on a platform site. A single storey, lofted building, stone-walled with a stone slate roof and central chimney stack. There is a lean-to on the west.
A sixteenth century house, incorporating a (redundant) cruck truss from an earlier house. Doorways open onto a cross passage. The hall is of two unequal bays. It has a fireplace backing onto the passage and retains a timber dias screen at the upper end.
Restored to earlier condition in 1982.
