Description1. Castle-like structure, probable home of Barlows, said to have produced medieval tiles. Remarkably like Ruperra, and reminiscent of the towered formal gardens. Garden 'stretched beyond the north wall [castle], an almost square enclosure with a pleasant river frontage.
