DescriptionGrounds and gardens associated with Blaen-Pant mansion (NPRN 5130). These are depicted in some detail on the OS County series 1st edition (Cardigan. XXXVIII.12 1889).
The main part of the grounds, including the mansion, stable and farmyard, paddock and walled gardens, was contained in an 8.0ha rectangular plot ringed about by tree rows. This included extensive shrubberies threaded by paths, with an axis of lawns in front of the south-east facing house. Avenues of trees led away across the neighbouring fields to the south-east and north-east. A drive, guarded by a lodge, led in from the south, one branch crossing a pond below the house.
