Aerial photography during March 1999 (neg: 995047 - 48,49) confirmed existence of earthworks to the S and SW of hall, likely to be the combined remains of garden earthworks and old field boundaries.

2. This garden is depicted on the Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25-inch map of Merionethshire XXXIII, sheet 16 (1901). Its main elements on that map include isolated geometric copses, lawns, conservatory, lodges, gravel pit, parkland, ponds, weir, walled garden, woodland and saw mill.
