The Jordanston garden lies in very close association with St.Cwrda's church in an isolated location with few neighbouring farms. The garden is depicted on the Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25-inch map of Pembrokeshire IX, sheet 14 (1907). Its main elements on that map include include sundial, relict hedgelines, parterres, carriage drive, walled garden, orchard, and an old saw pit. On aerial photographs taken during the late 1990s, it appears as a possibly formal square garden, and could be pre1750 in date.
