Cadw Register of Parks and Gardens states:
"Coryton House is a substantial Edwardian town house situated in the Whitchurch district of Cardiff, on the northern edge of the city. A straight drive (now disused), lined with beech trees, runs westwards tothe house from the A4054. Much of the extensive gardens remain, but offices of British Telecom and the Post Office, together with large carparks, have been built on the grounds to the south-east of the house and The Village Hotel, on the kitchen garden to the north. The offices have now been demolished to make way for residential development."
