Description
1. Early 19th century garden consisting of views towards Northop Church, lawns, parterre at north side of house, and a stone back, brick front, 14ft high fruit wall with gothic stoke-holes and a flue the whole length with a damper. A long ha-ha with a path over it has slate slabs and is cobbled. There is an area called Paradise with the remains of a greenhouse. The garden at the back of the house has paths and a laurel hedge with an archway which is to be restored.

Its main elements on that map include woodland, walled garden, lawns, kitchen garden, pond, parkland, greenhouses, carriage drive, haw haw, sundial and heated wall. C.H.
