Description
1. Remains of an 18th and 19th century park and gardens which consist of: a Late 19th century pinetum; Semi-natural woodland bounded on the East by the Wepre brook, which contains steps bridges and paths, one leading to Ewloe castle a genuinely medieval ruin used as a feature. There is a late 19th century formal garden with round pool, yew hedges, stone edged paths, steps, and stone gate-posts, (in the course of restoration). A Pets cemetery is not in its original position. The park to the West is now a golf course and to the North is a car park and playing fields. The 18th century walled garden which was repaired in the late 19th century is now ruinous.
