This garden is depicted on the Ordnance Survey 25-inch map of Brecknockshire XLII, sheet 14 (1888,1904). Its main elements on that map include carriage drive, orchard, lawns, woodland, lodge, kitchen garden and greenhouse. The earlier map includes a great deal more woodland and trees than the later, and the usually detail of paths in the kitchen garden.
