This garden is depicted on the Ordnance Survey 25-inch map of Brecknockshire XLII, sheet 14. Initiatially it was called Glan Bidan and Hopyard Farm. By 1904 it had become Glanbaidan Farm, when its main elements included carriage drive, parterres, conservatory, kitchen garden, lodge, lawns, greenhouses, possible summerhouse and orchard.
