This garden is depicted on the Second Edition Ordnance Survey 25-inch map of Carmarthenshire XLVI, sheet 2 (1906). Its main elements on that map include tennis court, carriage drive, isolated geometric copses, orchard, pond, river, kitchen garden, well and woodland.

Apparently a mainly 17th century estate..surrounded by 2 acres of woodlands and lawns, Western Mail 26 10 76 with a large walled former vegetable garden (WM) Aug 24th 1985
