A small country house of simple Tudorbethan character with later extensions to the N and S with some Classical detailing. 2-storeys and an attic with coursed, rock-faced, rubble stone and ashlared dressings, and slate roofs and stone stacks. The E front facing the drive has a pair of advanced gables to left that represent the shape of the original building; with flat bay windows to the ground floor; 2 windows set back to right to the first floor; with a bracketted polygonal oriel above.
