Chapel, mentioned as a possetion of Dore Abbey, 1267, last recorded mention, 1591: finds of an incised slab & a fragment of a possibly 15th century cross, have been associated with the chapel; a roughly rectangular platform, 35m NNW-SSE by 15m, scarped up to 1.4m high upon east-facing slopes, has been suggested as a possible location.
