DescriptionA timber-framed and plastered house built in the early 17th-century. The Wrexham house of the first Sir Watkin Williams Wynn. 5-gabled bay frontage with mullioned windows and a pedimented doorcase to the central entrance doorway. The house was subsequently used as barracks for railway builders, and for the first meeting of the Town Council, but has since been demolished.
