Cairnfield located on the plateau just beyond the southern slope of Cefnen Wen. The cairns are located to the North of Cairn I (NMR 268859) on slightly lower ground. The general area of the cairnfield includes eleven cairns most of which show internal structure. These are well defined cairns all of similar size and height, being sub rounded to oval with patchy earthfast stone visible in all. The cairn situated 20m north of Cairn I (NMR 268859) is perhaps the best defined, being almost circular and displaying much of its stone structure. 2002.05.10/OAN/NW
