Rhos Fynach is a single storey cottage with an attic. It has a mud roof and walls and retains features dating from the fifteenth, eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. It is believed to have been the grange of Maenan Abbey and is traditionally known as the home of Captain Morgan, the buccaneer. The windows on both storeys are sash.
