OAN field survey, located by GPS to an accuracy of +/- 1m. A wide flat clear plateau to the west of the trig point cairn (NMR 269172) The are has much outcropping stone and is predominantly flat before dropping off towards the Llangollen parish boundary to the west. There are several distinct earth mounds that can be seen on the plateau although it is uncertain whether they are anthropogenic or natural. 2003/02/10/OAN/NW
