OAN field survey, located by GPS to an accuracy of +/- 1m. Medium sized sub-rectangular quarry located at the east boundary of the Ruabon Mountain estate, to the east of Mountain Lodge and to the west of Plas-drain. The quarry is cut into the side of the slope and is now completely covered in grass. The working face is to the north west end and is roughly 20m long by 5m high. There are earthfast spoil heaps to the south and north east. There is a level area at the base of the quarried slope and there are also tracks running upslope from the quarry to the west. 2003/02/11/OAN/NW
